ibps.in 2014 – IBPS Recruitment 2014 – Common Written Examination for Banks by IBPS CWE and CWE Recruitment 2014 for Clerk/PO/MT/RRBs/Specialist Officers

IBPS CWE Recruitment
ibps.in brings a new process of recruitment in banking sector. IBPS CWE recruitment 2014 was introduced in the year of 2011 with 19 Public Sector Banks. Common Written Examination for banks through IBPS and CWE for Clerk, Specialist Officers and PO recruitment have been authorized by IBA.

CWE Exam Pattern:

PO/MT:


CWE exam pattern for PO/MT is based on the objective types of questions. There is a descriptive paper also on English Composition (Essay, Precis, Letter Writing etc.). There are total 250 objective questions for 250 maximum marks including 1 descriptive question related to English Composition. There are total 210 minutes to solve all the objective questions including one descriptive paper for CWE PO.

Clerk:

CWE exam pattern for Clerk recruitment is almost same to PO/MT. There are only objective types of questions of Clerk jobs. There are total 250 questions for 250 maximum marks. The questions have to solve in a given duration of 150 minutes for CWE Clerk.

There is the process of penalty also for wrong answer in both exam – Probationary Officers/Management Trainee and Clerks. One fourth or 0.25 of marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

CWE Syllabus:

Probationary Officer/Management Trainee:


Candidates have to focus on reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, general awareness (with special reference to banking industry) and computer knowledge to cover CWE syllabus for PO/MT. Candidates should read English Composition (Essay, Precis, Letter Writing etc.) for descriptive paper.

Clerk:

IBPS CWE syllabus for Clerk written exam is almost same to PO/MT. Candidates should focus on all type of objective questions to complete IBPS syllabus.

CWE Cut Off Score:

Candidates have to secure a minimum standardized score in each of the tests to qualify in written test for both – Clerk and PO recruitment. The CWE cut off score will be based on the average – (1/4 Standard Deviation for general and ¾ Standard Deviation for reserved category candidates). The Standard Deviations are average for both categories in both exam – Clerk and PO as IBPS CWE cutoff score.


IBPS CWE Examination Centre:

IBPS CWE written exam is conducted in various venues across many cities in India. IBPS CWE examination centers are mentioned in the advertisement details of Common Written Exam recruitment. IBPS reserve the right to change, cancel and add center for Common Written Examination. Request for change of centre will not be entertained by IBPS.

CWE Online Application Form:

CWE online Application Form is made available for a given period of time to apply online. CWE online Form is made available for both recruitment – Clerk and Probationary Officers/Management Trainee.

CWE Cash Voucher/Challan Form:

CWE cash voucher is also made available for a given period to submit application fees. CWE Challan form is available through the official website of IBPS.

IBPS CWE Online Registration Process:


Candidates need to know how to apply IBPS CWE online registration from the advertisement details of recruitment. Guidelines of uploading the photograph and signature are also mentioned in each recruitment advertisement of CWE. Ibps.in makes available both mode of payment – offline and online. Candidates should take care about name, category, date of birth, address, email id, exam centre etc. while submitting CWE online application form.

Educational qualification, age limit, application fees and general instructions are different for all recruitment of IBPS CWE.

Candidates should fulfill ibps.in eligibility criteria to apply for CWE recruitment. A Citizen of India is eligible to apply for IBPS recruitment.

Total 19 Public Sector Banks have joined with ibps.in for Common Written Examination (CWE) Clerk and PO/MT recruitment in 2014. Group of State Bank of India is not involved in IBPS CWE recruitment process till now.

About IBPS:
Ibps.in is involved in recruitment, assessment center, training, consultancy, promotion and placement and research and development. Common Written Examination is the new project of ibps.in in banking sector related to recruitment process.

IBPS is a pre-requisite process for selection of personnel for PO/MT and Clerical Cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks. IBPS is an autonomous body authorized by Indian Banks’ Association (IBA). The body is registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 and a Public Trust under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950.

IBPS is the short form for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The CWE for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee and Clerical Cadre job posts are conducted twice a year by IBPS.

About IBPS CWE Recruitment 2014:


Common Written Examination has been approved by 19 Public Sector Banks to recruit Clerk and PO twice in a year in 2014. The CWE is organized by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). So, IBPS is an organizing body of CWE recruitment.

More than 14.5 lakh online applications have been received for the first Common Written Examination (CWE) by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). First CWE recruitment was advertised by PO/MT in 2011.

Interview and final selection are made by each bank individually. These banks shortlist candidates and carry out their own process. IBPS CWE recruitment process is approved by 19 Nationalized Banks in 2011. IBPS Clerk recruitment 2014 has also been announced for Common Written Exam.
